Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating a Merchantsage account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Merchantsage provides AI-powered merchandising and inventory intelligence for Shopify and WooCommerce stores. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account with others or use the service on behalf of a third party without their consent.
4. Subscription and billing
Merchantsage is a subscription service billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
5. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required for WooCommerce direct signups. At the end of the trial period, you will be asked to select a paid plan to continue using the service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Merchantsage to violate any applicable law or regulation. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service. You may not use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure.
7. Your data
You retain ownership of all store data connected to Merchantsage. We process your data solely to provide the service. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. AI-generated content
Merchantsage uses AI to generate merchandising recommendations and reasoning. These recommendations are advisory only — you are always responsible for the final decision to push any changes to your store. We make no guarantee that AI recommendations will improve your store's performance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merchantsage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and emailing hello@merchantsage.com.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
