Merchantsage was built by an ecommerce store owner who kept running into the same problem — across their own store and the stores they supported. Merchandising decisions were being made every week on gut feel, in stolen fifteen-minute windows, with no real data and no record of why each call was made.
The tools either sorted without explaining, or forecasted without merchandising. Nothing did both, and nothing showed its reasoning.
So we built the thing we wished existed. An agent that thinks the way a senior merchandiser would — weighing velocity, margin, momentum, stock risk, and launch timing simultaneously — and shows every decision in plain language so the merchant stays in control.
